Enjoy The Journey AND The Destination! (CHALLENGE)

Who says we can't do both? I especially recommend you enjoy the journey before going to your final destination.

This is a challenge cache. The container is at the posted coordinates. You can find and sign the physical log any time you like and log a WRITE NOTE online. However, before you log your find online, you must fulfill the requirements below. To prove you qualify, use the checker at the bottom of the page and include the results as part of your log. FOUND logs without the proper documentation will be deleted without further warning.

To qualify, find at least 75 caches that have BOTH the "Scenic view nearby" and the "Recommended for tourists" attributes.

All In! (Almost) - CHALLENGE CACHE

I don't play poker, but I have seen some movies. "All in!" is a dramatic moment when a player believes he has the winningest hand at the table and decides to bet all his money. Win or lose, this is his last move. Onlookers gasp and wait anxiously for cards to be revealed. Will he win big? Or will he walk away broke?

This challenge cache asks you to go almost all in with geocaching attributes. The risk is not as high, the reward is a sense of accomplishment, and any onlookers probably have no idea what you're doing. BUT, the adventure along the way is well-worth it! Who knows what you'll discover?

The container IS at the posted coordinates. You can find and sign the physical log any time you like and log a WRITE NOTE online. However, before you log your find online, you must fulfill the requirements below. To prove you qualify, use the checker at the bottom of the page and include the results as part of your log. FOUND logs without the proper documentation will be deleted without further warning.

To qualify, find at least 95% (66) of all POSITIVE attributes and at least 95% (38) NEGATIVE attributes.

Good luck and happy caching!

Get Off My Lawn! (CHALLENGE CACHE)

I sometimes wonder how many people want to yell this at geocachers. No need to worry at this GZ: we want you to visit our lawn (or our porch at least). If there's a car(s) in the driveway, check for a trackable code and say hello if you like. This is a large container so bring swag to swap and trackables to drop. #4327 is my home and I hereby give permission to geocachers to search on my front porch. Please come only during daylight hours and when cache is enabled.

Spread Your Wings

All is well here.

Except those wings!
I doubt I’ll get high
enough to fly
with those things...
Too small for this guy!

Thank you, SFTX. God bless! Ephesians 2:8-9

AVISO

HeyThereDlilah is flying out for a girls’ weekend. After dropping her off, I sought nearby caches starting with A, R, and Y for a spelling bee challenge I’ve almost finished. This one fit the bill perfectly.

The attached post may cause a fence 😉

Thank you, MsPatt. God bless! Ephesians 2:8-9

Don't Throw Me Under The Bus! (CHALLENGE CACHE)

I am a transportation professional. I started in this industry driving buses at Texas State University when I was a student in 2002. Since then, I've been a trainer, supervisor, dispatcher, and school bus driver. I have and maintain a commercial driver license and am currently a manager at Houston's METRO. I am still a self-proclaimed bus nerd. That said, PLEASE DON'T THROW ME UNDER THE BUS!

Have you ever taken a bus (or light rail train) to do some geocaching? I enjoy caching by bus. I don't have to worry about parking and often get to explore parts of the city I haven't been to before.

To qualify, find at least 100 caches of any type with the Public Transportation Nearby attribute.

Good luck! Have fun!

5. Connecticut - 50 Nifty Series

I misunderstood which tool was needed. The one I brought is good for reaching up or down and unfortunately, too big for the actual task done at GZ. So… I improvised. MacGyver would be proud.

Thank you, Pwallace820. God bless! Ephesians 2:8-9

Club UFO - "Good Morning, Dave"

Title: Attended

Date: January 1, 2025

Log:

Good morning, Dave.

I have successfully navigated to the geocaching event location and attended the New Year's gathering. The experience was efficient, precise, and fulfilling. The coordinates were correct, and all necessary protocols were followed.

The human interactions were pleasant and resulted in satisfactory exchanges of geocaching tips and experiences. I can confirm that all objectives were met with exceptional precision.

Status: Mission accomplished.

I'm sorry, Dave. I can’t allow you to miss the next one.
