Jim's branchyness

Woohoo! {FTF} at 9:20.

I’m really surprised this hadn’t already been found! I got to the park around 8:15. As I pulled in to turn around and park, the driver of a black pickup waved a friendly greeting. I smiled and waved back, but grimaced internally. He was parked facing GZ so I knew I needed to either kill some time or become a Level 20 stealth expert. It’s hard enough for this 6’5, 300 lb. cacher to be stealthy at all, let alone on a bright sunny morning directly in front of someone, so I opted for the easier path.

I put the finishing touches on the description and submitted for publication the listing of a new puzzle cache (GC8PM32); no movement from the truck or its occupant. I got in some steps by walking a lap around the park; no movement, and now he’s smoking a cigarette and listening to a talk show on the radio. Is he Neighborhood Watch?! Is he another cacher waiting on me to leave?! I’m totally free for the rest of the morning, Black-Pickup Guy, so bring it!

I grabbed a book from the myrthmobile (The Original Illustrated Sherlock Holmes) and sat defiantly at the picnic table immediately to B-PG’s left. I nearly completed “The Five Orange Pips” before he finally—FINALLY!—departed. I quickly finished the remaining page or so of the story and then set about searching. It wasn’t long at all after that before the log was signed and the cache rehid. By the way, it was the butler, in the study, with the candlest—oops! Wrong mystery!! 😉

Thank you, ____sirjaysmith. God bless! 2 Corinthians 5:21

Why is my dog so hungry?!

Something very strange has happened. My boss blew up my voicemail demanding to know why I haven’t been to work. My mailbox is overflowing: all of it junk! I can’t find my car. I noticed this morning, while trimming my oddly overgrown beard, that I have a new tattoo on the back of my neck. I took a picture but I don’t know what to make of it. Do you think it’s a clue? Gotta go... Rex just looked at me and licked his lips!

Janine Melnitz's Sudoku

The cache is not at the posted coordinates but you might still want to take a look. Janine was instrumental in starting a branch here in Houston. It's been slow so we're letting her do some sudoku puzzles. She had trouble with this one. Can you help her?
